A basic toe-up sock pattern for babies. This would be an appropriate pattern for a first time sock knitter who is already familiar working in the round. This pattern is written to be knit one sock at a time, but could easily be knitted two at a time. These socks can easily be adapted to include stripes, color working, or even lace components! A great jumping off point.
The sizes are for 0-3 months (3 1/4”), 3-6 months (3 3/4”), and 6 months – 1 year (4 1/4”). The largest size can easily be adapted for toddler socks by simply adding length (details on changing the length are included the pattern) before working the heel.
This pattern can be worked over 5 size 2 dpns or a circular needle in the magic loop method, whichever you are more comfortable with.
This pattern is copyrighted and you cannot sell the pattern, items made using it, or make any money from my intellectual property. Thanks!
