Product Description
For a limited time only, purchase Mononoke Pullover and receive Deerborn Beanie for FREE! A match made in heaven or the hinterlands, whichever is closer! Hurry, this promotion ends on Halloween!
This is a fun little pullover indeed! It works up quite quickly, due to nice thick yarn and short sleeves. The front and back panels of the pullover are worked flat to enable intarsia work on the front if desired. The work is then seamed at the shoulders and sides and the remainder of the garment is worked in the round. This decreases awkward seams in garter stitch. There is an optional short row section to shape the sides and back of the garment, making the back curving to be longer than the front.
This garment can be made to fit close to your body, or oversized for a more cozy sweater! If you want it a bit oversized, just bump up one size from what you’d normally wear.
The image on the front of the sweater is a chart I wrote up that is available for free on my website! You do not need to purchase the pullover pattern to have access to this chart! The design is a motif of Princess Mononoke. She’s simply amazing and ferocious. If you haven’t seen the movie (by Hao Miyazaki, lord of anime), you must go watch it! However, if you’d like, the design can be skipped or swapped out for any intarsia chart you wish! I give instructions in the pattern for changing out the chart.
My Princess Mononoke chart is available for free! on my website at:
