Yarn: 950 (1050, 1250, 1450, 1600) yards/ 875 (950, 1150, 1350, 1475) meters DK weight yarn with at least 50% animal or plant fiber content (so the garment blocks properly). Shown in Rowan Felted Tweed DK colorway SH133.

Needles: Size US 6/4.00 mm circular needle with a long (40″/100 cm) cable and 2 double-point needles of the same size, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge: 22 sts and 32 rows = 4″/10 cm in Stockinette stitch.

Notions: 1 large stitch holder, 1 small stitch holder, spare circular needle of a smaller size than main needle, 12 stitch markers, a cable needle, rinse-free wool wash, and a blocking mat.

Techniques: Judy’s Magic Cast On, backwards loop cast on (can substitute cable cast on), make one, basic chart reading, left knit two together (abbreviated as LK2Tog, can substitute in “slip, slip knit” if preferred).

Pattern Notes: This highly anticipated pattern is finally here! Worked in a cushy tweed, it’s the perfect thing for snuggling up on a blustery night with a good book. Worked in a lightweight flax, linen, or cotton, it is great for warm-weather layering. The cardigan can be worn in a variety of ways, making it a very versatile knit. I love getting a lot of bang for your buck when it comes to patterns! I think you’ll love this garment as much as I do. Oh and did I mention, there is only 1 seam in the whole garment!
