Gauge: 11 stitches = 4”/10 cm in drop stitch pattern, after blocking.

Notions: 20 (28) stitch markers, a tapestry needle, and a yarn swift (optional) to block.

Techniques: Knitting in the round, basic cabling, and basic chart reading (optional).

Pattern Notes: What better way to show off special handspun yarn than this? Get the most out of every precious ounce of handspun yarn by putting your knitting right in the spotlight on your neckline. While the stitch pattern looks really impressive, it’s just a combination of basic cabling and drop stitches. This pattern is designed to be worked until you run out of yarn, so the final width is just going to depend on how much yardage you have. For a super cozy cowl, double the yardage recommended.
