Product Description

I designed this is a fantastic cardigan pattern to use minimal amounts of sock weight yarn. The cardigan is meant to fit snug on the arms, and flow in a somewhat mermaid-tail way to the back. It is not intended to be able to close over your bust, just to cover your arm and then stay out of your way!

The work is entirely seamless. The utilization of drop stitches is not only lovely, it makes the work go very quickly and uses such a small amount of sock weight yarn you won’t believe it! The lace is perfectly breezy for warm days. The cardigan is knit in a lace motif, and at the bottom of the work stitches are dropped and your work grows like magic! 440 yards never looked so good.

The pattern includes written instructions using standard abbreviations in conjunction with charts. You should have a good working knowledge of chart reading, basic lace techniques, basic cabling, and the Kitchener stitch. This pattern may look intimidating, but it’s really not terribly advanced! The construction of the garment is not typical, so I have included a Working Diagram which lays out the construction in a visual way.
